I offer counselling and psychotherapy from my comfortable and private therapy room in Ridings House, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, or online. Sessions typically last for one hour and take place weekly, however I am happy to discuss other options to meet your individual needs. I offer a free 30 minute consultation where we can explore the possibilities for our work together. My fees are £55 per session for new therapy clients, and I offer a limited number of reduced-fee sessions for people on low incomes.

Please contact me for details of my current availability.

It is important that you find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable, and that you feel they understand you. To help you to decide whether I am somebody who you might want to work with, I offer 30 minute free meeting, giving you the opportunity to ask me any questions you might have, and to test out what it feels like to be in conversation with me. In our initial meeting we might discuss how therapy will work, what brings you to therapy, and explore how we might work together.

I provide humanistic counselling and psychotherapy, which means that I provide a confidential and welcoming space for you to explore the difficulties you are having, and examine the areas of your life that are leaving you feeling dissatisfied or stuck.

The pace and length of therapy will be determined by you; as we work together, you are likely to develop a greater sense of your needs, and we will have an ongoing dialogue about how we work together, so you can gain what you need from the process.

Some people come to therapy to look at a particular problem or obstacle to wellbeing, others come with a general sense of unhappiness, depression or anxiety; whatever the purpose and focus of therapy for you, I aim to work with you to co-create a therapeutic relationship which helps you to explore the issues that are important to you and make the changes you want to make, in order to lead a more fulfilling and well-balanced life.
